I show you what I found
I go up into your attic or crawl space myself and show you what's there, like how many inches are already down or gaps around the hatch, so you understand the why before you decide.
We insulate attics, walls and crawl spaces in Charleston and the cities around it. We're licensed and insured, and I explain what your house needs before you decide anything.

I got into insulation on the sales side, quoting jobs for another company. After a while I wanted to know the work I was selling, so I moved up into the attics and learned it firsthand. In 2023 I started Trueseal Charleston Insulation Company so the person who explains your job is the same one who answers for it.
A lot of our calls come from homeowners with a few quotes in hand that they can't tell apart. One says foam, one says blown-in, which is loose fill blown through a hose, and one just says seal the gaps. I take the time to explain what each one fixes and why. Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, but in most attics sealing the gaps and topping up loose fill does the job, unless your ductwork runs up there.
What I care about most is that you understand your own house when we leave, not just that the job got done. Old wiring or vermiculite in the attic is an ordinary first step to sort out, and some houses honestly don't need much at all. I'd rather lose a sale than talk you into work you don't need. You can see the rest of what we do on our home page.

I spent years on the selling side, so I know the tricks and don't use them. If your house doesn't need much, I'll tell you, even when that means no job for us.
Your written quote lists each step in the order it happens, prep work like clearing old or soaked insulation included, so you can lay it next to other bids and see what's different.
Call (843) 278-0544 or use our contact page. We reply within one business day, by phone or email, whichever you used to reach us, and set up a time for me to come out.
I do the free, on-site estimate myself and check whether your address falls under a city or county office, since that decides who you'd be dealing with. Then you get a written quote to think over.
If the work needs a permit, we handle the application and keep you posted on where it stands. When the crew finishes, I come back to look it over with you, so nothing gets lost between quote and crew.
These are the cities with their own page on our site, Charleston first. We work in plenty more nearby, so if yours isn't listed, ask through our contact page.
